At Cheap City Bike Saddle Store, we want you to be as happy with your purchase as you are with a perfectly adjusted derailleur. If something isn’t quite right with your order, our returns process is designed to be as smooth as a well-oiled chain.

Our Return Promise

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order for most items. Your item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it.

Note about hygiene items: For the safety of all our customers, saddles that show signs of use cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. Please inspect your saddle carefully upon arrival.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for approval – Our team will review your request (usually within 24 hours) and send return instructions.
  3. Package your item securely in the original packaging if possible.
  4. Ship it back to our Durham warehouse using a trackable shipping service.
  5. Receive your refund or exchange item once we’ve processed your return.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement – typically 3-10 business days after we process it.

Exchanges

Need a different size or color? We’re happy to exchange most items. The process is the same as returns – just let us know in your email that you’d like an exchange rather than a refund.

If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrived damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover the return shipping costs.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Custom or special order items
